Hermes Agent shipped two stable releases on October 21, the first since 0.22.2.
0.22.3
- A big roll-up of about 620 merged PRs since 0.22.2. Full curated notes come with 0.23.0.
- Among them: live MCP progress, a refreshed classic CLI layout, plugin OAuth clients,
hermes plugins update, a live/loopcountdown, apost_compactionhook, and Nemotron 3.5 Bolt in the local runtime.
0.22.4
- Desktop drops the suggestion pills above the composer that mostly nagged you to set up MCP servers.
- Plugins that install nothing skip the empty consent prompt, and the approval-mode chip follows your active profile.
- New catalog entries include bubblewrap (a bwrap terminal backend on Linux), Singularity/Apptainer, mcp-serve (Hermes as an MCP server) and agent importers, now including Cursor.
- Update with
hermes update.
My take
A bwrap sandbox backend on Linux is the one I’m most excited about.
Have a blessed day! And Happy Hacking!
