This one’s about the ground under Grok, not the model.
The report
Tom’s Hardware, citing The Guardian, says SpaceXSI is buying 418 homes in Colonial Hills in Southaven, Mississippi, about half a mile from the power plant that will feed its data centers. Agents are going door to door, but sellers reportedly have to agree not to join a class action over turbine noise. About 18 owners have agreed so far. SpaceXSI’s subsidiary MZX says it needs the property, and the mayor says it’ll house staff. The company denies the allegations and says it cut output and added sound walls. City monitors haven’t recorded noise above the 70-decibel limit.
My take
I use Grok every day. I still want the neighbors treated fairly. Building big is fine. Making people sign away their right to complain is a bad look. Love your neighbor applies to data centers too.
God Bless, and Happy hacking!
