What’s New in GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.104

Copilot CLI v1.0.104 shipped Oct 27. It’s a small one:

• The managed “fusion” model now starts sessions on Auto and applies fusionTier settings.
• Interactive and SDK Autopilot sessions keep waiting for attached background tasks instead of stopping at the timeout. -p --autopilot still honors it.
• If a saved Auto preference goes away, Auto falls back to its default instead of failing every turn.
• Assisted Permissions no longer need experimental mode.
