Apple seeded the iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2 release candidates to developers, a week after beta 4. The RC usually means the public release is close, and Apple already said the new Siri AI languages would arrive in October.
What’s in 27.2
- Siri AI in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish.
- Profiles in the Apple TV app.
- Call Context now supports anniversary alerts.
- A new Apple Music icon, and an expanded App Tracking Transparency prompt option in the EU.
- The Health app features tested in the betas were pulled for a later update.
Expect it next week, maybe before the October 28 launch.
