NASA has opened applications for its next class of astronauts, who will train for the Moon Base and lay groundwork for Mars.
- U.S. citizens can apply through 11:59 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 3.
- NASA expects to make its final selection in late 2027.
- The last call, in 2024, drew more than 8,000 applications, and 10 candidates were chosen.
Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson: “The window is open. The mission is waiting.”
My take
If you’ve ever dreamed about it, apply. Somebody gets to walk on the Moon again.
God Bless, and May the Source Be with You!
