OpenAI’s latest ChatGPT release notes bring three updates worth knowing about.
ChatGPT Slides
- Create decks in Space from a conversation, files or an outline, or share an example deck to match its style.
- Edit text, images, shapes and charts directly or ask ChatGPT to do it. Teammates can co-edit in real time and comment.
- Present from ChatGPT, or export to PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides on the web. The desktop app opens decks in PowerPoint or Keynote.
- Rolling out to eligible Pro, Business and Enterprise users with Space access. Plus isn’t included yet.
GPT-6 Pro update
Faster responses, better plugin and tool use, and multiple agents working on parts of a task in parallel, with progress visible in the chat. Rolling out to eligible Pro users.
GPT-Live-1.1 and new voices
ChatGPT Voice gets GPT-Live-1.1 and a mini version, GPT-Live-1.1 Quip, with more natural accents. New voices include French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mexican Spanish and “Bubbie” in English.
My take
With Pages, Space and now Slides, ChatGPT is going straight at office suites. Parallel agents in GPT-6 Pro is the same multi-agent pattern showing up everywhere this month.
