Back in post 757 I wrote about the 52-day Rebuild Initiative, a Nehemiah-style call to prayer and fasting that started September 10. It ends this Saturday.
What’s happening
The Nehemiah Alliance is hosting The Sacred Assembly on Saturday, October 31, Reformation Day, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. It’s free and open to the public. Featured guests include Alveda King, Jonathan Cahn, Lou Engle, Eric Metaxas and Michael W. Smith.
My take
Nehemiah rebuilt the wall in 52 days because people each built the section in front of their own house (Nehemiah 3). You don’t have to be in D.C. to finish strong. Wherever you are Saturday, take an hour and pray for your town, your church and this nation. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray…” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
God Bless, and Happy hacking!
