Tuple for Omarchy Puts Pairing Calls in Your Bar, With Some Parts Still Untested

Ben Sehl released Tuple for Omarchy, a plugin that puts Tuple’s pair-programming calls into the Omarchy bar. DHH reposted it.

What you get

It uses the same Quickshell kit as Omarchy’s Tailscale, Bluetooth and Audio panels, so it follows your theme. The bar icon shows off, logged-out, in-call, sharing and incoming states. The panel handles daemon on/off, login, starting and joining calls, mute, share, camera and a teammate directory.

The garlic part

Tuple’s Linux client is still alpha and mostly CLI. Sehl is upfront: call state is “calibrated against one real call,” and answering incoming calls, live peer webcam and mic routing “haven’t been seen live yet.”

Try it

You need the Tuple CLI plus socat, jq, hyprctl, wl-copy and notify-send. Clone the repo, read install.sh, then run it. uninstall.sh backs it out. MIT licensed.

God Bless, and Needs Garlic!
