Apple says the first iOS 27.3 developer beta arrives Wednesday, November 4 in China, which likely means Tuesday, November 3 in the U.S. The public release is planned for December.
What’s in it
- Earlier Apple Intelligence features come to the iPhone 15 Pro and newer in China: Writing Tools, Genmoji, Clean Up, Notification Summaries, Priority Notifications, Visual Intelligence and Live Translation with AirPods.
- Alibaba’s Qwen gets built into Siri, Writing Tools and Visual Intelligence there.
- Siri AI, the WWDC 2026 features and Image Playground won’t be available in China on 27.3, and Mac and iPad have to wait for approvals.
My take
Mostly a China story, but a .3 beta usually means bug fixes for the rest of us too. As always, keep betas off the phone you depend on.
God Bless, and May the Source Be with You!
