Glasshand, launched Nov. 5 by Trevor Keith, rents dedicated real iPhones and Macs in a data center so agents can see the screen and tap, type or swipe—not simulators. i10x reports $60/month per iPhone and $90 per Mac.
How it’s pitched
Connect through Glasshand’s API or paste a prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and similar tools. Each device is dedicated hardware in their facility.
My take
Agents keep hitting the “can’t drive a real phone UI” wall. Physical rentals are one answer. Ask hard questions about who can see the screen, what gets logged, and how wipe/reuse works before you put credentials on one.
Isolate it: try new software in a disposable VM or spare machine first, with a backup you can roll back to.
God Bless, and Use the Source!
