Two weeks after launch, Apple says more than 100,000 apps are optimized for iPhone Duo, MacRumors reports. That means apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK or later that fill both the inner and outer displays and use the vertical status-bar controls.

Apple’s Susan Prescott says thousands more are added every day, and Apple has run developer workshops in 19 cities. Recent additions include Microsoft’s Office apps, Etsy, Goodnotes, Halide Mark III, NBA, NHL and Zoom, alongside Netflix, Prime Video, Instagram, WhatsApp and YouTube.

A foldable lives or dies on its apps, and that’s a fast ramp. Check whether your daily apps are on the list before you buy.
