Myanmar’s military hit a Bible school in Karen State on Tuesday with jets and then armed drones, Christian Solidarity Worldwide reports via The Christian Post. Three young women were killed and six other students were hurt in Day Bu Noh village, Hpapun District.
What happened
CSW says more than 10 bombs fell around 3 p.m., followed by an hour of drone strikes, with no active fighting in the area. Two students died at the scene. A third died the next day while being carried toward Thailand for treatment. CSW is calling for an aviation fuel embargo on the junta.
My take
These were kids studying the Word. “Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering” (Hebrews 13:3). Pray for the families, for healing for the six injured, and for the Holy Spirit to comfort the Karen church. Pray for the soldiers too. Saul became Paul.
God Bless, and May the Source Be with You!
