Recently I had my agents take a careful look at my whole setup, and then fix what mattered most that same night.
Read-only first
Jarvis, my home assistant bot, had Alfred coordinate the work, and three specialists did the looking: Oracle covered servers and code, NetOps covered the home network, and DNS Manager covered DNS. It’s one bot, one job in action. The key rule was that the audit was read-only. Nobody changed anything while looking, so the picture was honest and nothing broke along the way.
The results
The good news: zero critical findings. There were some high-priority items, and with my yes, every one of them was fixed the same night.
At a high level, the fixes came down to a few themes: give each account and service only the access it actually needs, protect sensitive files and internal tools properly, tighten how my cloud and home networks talk to each other, and strengthen how passwords are stored. DNS got its share of cleanup too.
Why it matters
Separating looking from fixing is what made this work. The audit gave a clear list, I stayed in the loop for every change, and the bots did the tedious part fast. Instead of a security project dragging on for weeks, the important stuff was done before bed.
It’s a pattern I plan to repeat: check regularly, fix the important things quickly, and keep a human in the loop.
