Android’s November Patches Fix 200+ Bugs, Including a No-Click RCE

Google’s November Android security update fixes more than 200 vulnerabilities, two dozen of them critical.

  • The 2026-11-01 patch level fixes 119 bugs across Android runtime, Framework and System.
  • The worst is CVE-2026-58868 in Framework, a critical remote code execution bug that needs no user interaction.
  • 17 of the fixes went out early through Google Play system updates.
  • The 2026-11-05 patch level fixes 97 more in the kernel and vendor components such as Arm.

My take

A no-click RCE in Framework is the one to care about. Check your patch level under Settings, About phone, and grab the update when your phone offers it. If your phone isn’t getting monthly updates anymore, it might be time to retire it.

God Bless, and Use the Source!
