Ever wish your phone looked like your Omarchy desktop? Simon Schubert built Omalauncher, an Android home screen with Omarchy’s look, plus an optional full Arch Linux ARM system running right next to your phone apps.
What you get
- All 22 Omarchy themes and wallpapers, plus community themes.
- Optional Arch under proot with no root needed. Pacman, the AUR, and Linux apps that each open as their own Android task.
- A single bar for everything. Short queries open apps, and full sentences go to a coding agent like Claude Code, Codex or Copilot in a terminal.
- Omarchy-style shortcuts with a hardware keyboard, like Super+Enter for a terminal.
- It’s on Google Play with no account, no ads and no tracking.
You need an arm64 phone on Android 10 or newer, and the Arch tarball is an 830 MB download.
My take
A pocket Omarchy with an agent bar is a fun idea. I like that the Linux side is optional, so you can just try the themes first.
