YouVersion says “Psalm 91” was the single most-searched term in the Bible App in 2026. “Anxiety,” “hope” and “healing” weren’t far behind.
The numbers
- 18.5 million people a day open the Bible App, up more than 13% from 2025.
- More than 160 million new installs across its apps this year.
- 3,800 Bible versions in 2,400 languages.
- Some of the highest engagement is in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
My take
A search bar shows what people are scared of before they say it out loud. And what did they search for? “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty” (Psalm 91:1). That’s the Spirit drawing people to the right place. If you’re carrying anxiety today, read all 16 verses out loud. Then pray them over somebody else.
God Bless, and May the Source Be with You!
