FlashPoint held its first event at its new ranch northwest of Fort Worth this week, and people showed up. More than 2,100 the first day, more than 2,200 the second, and around 43 baptized on day two in a pool they built just for that. Folks came from all over the country, plus Canada, the UK and Germany.
What stood out
- Gene Bailey told the crowd this wasn’t supposed to be another politics-and-culture event. The direction he felt from God was simple: let the Holy Spirit lead.
- No rigid run sheet. Pastors preached, evangelists spoke, and then the room would shift. Crying, repentance, forgiveness, healing, prophetic words, spontaneous singing.
- People prayed in tongues all across the property, not off in a corner somewhere.
- Hotels around the area filled up as visitors kept pouring in.
My take
That’s the part I love. “The schedule became secondary to what was happening among the people.” When you hand the meeting back to the Holy Spirit, He shows up. Acts 2 didn’t happen on a timer.
And they got it right on the big point: a nation doesn’t get fixed by politics alone. It starts with repentance, with families praying together, with people getting baptized and walking into new life. 2 Chronicles 7:14 is still the order of operations. Humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, turn. Then He heals the land.
Have a blessed day! And Happy Hacking!
