Two more GitHub Copilot CLI releases landed on October 21 and 22, following 1.0.101.
1.0.103 (October 22)
- Clicking a completed response’s code block copies its original code, when enabled.
- ACP sessions now honor saved sandbox settings and the
--sandboxand--no-sandboxflags, including on resume. - Cloud replies keep their full text when the CLI reconnects after a dropped connection.
- The sessions browser shows a session’s recorded title instead of a generic “Session N.”
- Model-specific default Responses verbosity now applies correctly for GPT-5 models unless session verbosity is set explicitly.
- Gemini tool calls avoid 400 schema validation errors for nullable and enum fields.
- Sandbox grants:
dnxcommands can use existing .NET and NuGet grants when developer-tool access is enabled, and Windows shims likenpm.cmdget the same grants asnpm. - Local MCP tool snapshots are reused across registered git worktrees in one repository.
- Remote launch options are clearer, and the legacy
--remoteand--no-remoteflags are retired.
1.0.102 (October 21)
- Prompt mode (
-pand piped stdin) honors managed Auto model selection. - Subagents honor custom and MCP tool approvals, avoiding duplicate permission prompts.
- Plugin marketplaces accept
git-subdirsources and long plugin descriptions. - Long-running sandboxed commands keep running reliably past 10 seconds, and sandboxed network traffic honors
NO_PROXYandALL_PROXY. - Replies cut off by a provider overload error now retry with backoff and show the provider’s message and request ID.
My take
Lots of sandbox plumbing in both releases, which is a theme across every agent CLI this week. If you script the CLI, the retired --remote flags are the thing to check.
Have a blessed day! And Happy Hacking!
