An update to my post on Apple’s Intelligent Assistant, which came to Keynote, Numbers and Pages for Apple Creator Studio subscribers. It’s now in Logic Pro, with a catch.
What’s new
- Logic Pro for Mac 13.0 is out, and per Apple’s release notes, the Intelligent Assistant (beta) needs an Apple Creator Studio subscription ($12.99/month or $129/year)
- If you bought Logic Pro outright for $199.99, you don’t get it
- It also needs an Apple silicon Mac and macOS 27 or later, and it uses a mix of Apple-built and third-party models
- It can start a song, set up a vocal track from a single prompt, or refine a project
My take
That subscription requirement wasn’t in last month’s announcement. Not cool for people who paid full price.
God Bless, and May the Source Be with You!
