Charisma shared Ted Greenfield’s story from a CBN News interview, and it’s a great reminder that God provides for what He calls us to do.
The story
- At a 2018 Bible study, a speaker described human trafficking around Baltimore and Washington. It “landed in my heart like a bag of wet cement,” he said
- Greenfield, a pilot, asked an anti-trafficking group if private planes could help. Workers were driving survivors 10 to 14 hours to safe homes. The director called it “an answer to prayer”
- He says God gave him the name “Invisible Angels.” He expected the domain to cost $3,500. It was $35
- Then an ad: someone wanted to donate a Cessna Centurion P210 to a nonprofit, the exact model another pilot had recommended. “Son, son, son, slow down. I want you to have the airplane”
- The first flight was in December 2021. A survivor advocate goes with every passenger. The youngest was 8
My take
He got a word, wrote the budget “as if it’s already up and running,” and then waited. That’s faith. God “calls into being things that were not” (Romans 4:17). And his heart for survivors is the Father’s heart: “We have to show survivors how valuable they are in the eyes of God.” Pray for the people this ministry serves.
