Update to: Gurman Now Expects OLED MacBook Pro on November 6 and Apple Invites Media to an October 28 Launch Experience
We have a name: “Pro and Tell.” Like the October 13 “Welcome Home” launch, it’s not a normal keynote. Some media get hands-on time in Los Angeles, and the rest of us get press releases on October 28, likely around 9 a.m. ET or 10 a.m. PT (8 or noon CT).
What’s expected
- OLED MacBook Pro in 14 and 16 inch, the first touchscreen Mac, a sturdier hinge, a Dynamic Island instead of the notch, and a lighter build. It’s rumored to keep the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips and sit above the current models at a higher price. It’s still called Pro, not Ultra.
- Entry 14-inch MacBook Pro and 24-inch iMac with M6.
- iPad mini 8 with OLED, speakers with no holes, possibly an IP rating, and the A20 Pro chip.
