The biopic Jimmy premiered in Fort Worth on Nov. 4, The Christian Post reports, with a color guard, the National Anthem and a B-24 flyover. KJ Apa stars. Fort Worth proclaimed “Jimmy Stewart Day.”
Why it matters
Stewart’s daughter Kelly Stewart Harcourt, an executive producer, said she remembers a father who tried to do the right thing, fueled by faith, not by Hollywood applause. The film leans into his WWII service and the faith that carried him through making It’s a Wonderful Life.
My take
Character under pressure still preaches. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1). Ask the Holy Spirit where you need quiet courage more than a spotlight.
God Bless, and Happy hacking!
