Apple doesn’t list RAM in its specs, but Xcode spills it.
The numbers
According to MacRumors, Xcode 27.2 shows the fourth-generation Apple TV 4K with the A19 chip has 8GB of RAM, and the new OLED iPad mini with the A20 Pro has 12GB. The iPhone Duo also shows 12GB. None of it is a surprise. MacRumors notes that an industry-wide memory chip shortage has pushed Apple to raise prices across many products this year.
My take
12GB in an iPad mini is plenty for on-device AI features. 8GB in a TV box is a lot, which hints at Apple’s plans for it beyond just streaming.
God Bless, and Use the Source!
