Update: Apple’s Five New Products Arrive Tomorrow, and Labrinth Shows Off the Touch MacBook Pro

An update to my launch-day post. The iPad mini, iMac, M6 MacBook Pro and both touchscreen MacBook Pros go on sale tomorrow, Friday, Nov 6, MacRumors reports. Prices are the same: from $699, $1,499, $1,999, and $2,899/$3,399 for the 14- and 16-inch touch models. Most configs still show launch-day delivery, except the base 14-inch touch model (Space Black 3-4 weeks, Silver 7-10 business days).

Touch in action

Apple had Labrinth make a song from scratch in a nearly four-hour overnight livestream from the Apple Tower Theatre in Los Angeles. He reaches onto the display to work Logic Pro’s mixer. Logic has onscreen keyboards, chord pads and drum pads you can play by touch, multiple notes at once. The replay is up, and the song lands on Apple Music next week.

My take

Music production is a great showcase for touch on a Mac. Real reviews start tomorrow.

God Bless, and Use the Source!
